You spend so much time showing up for everyone else—your work, your relationships, your community. But when’s the last time you showed up for you?

The same strengths, talents, and dedication that help you support others can also be used to nurture yourself. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just know that things could “be better” therapy is a space to tap into what’s right with you, find balance, and create the life you truly want.

I take a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy, helping you uncover patterns, explore challenges, and develop practical solutions that align with your goals. Sometimes we talk; other times, there are feelings and ideas that words can’t quite capture. That’s where mindfulness practices, music, art, poetry—even a favorite quote or song—come in. If it speaks to you, we’ll use it. Therapy with me is a creative workshop where you craft your own path, and I’m right there with you as a guide and cheerleader. Whether we’re tackling a specific issue or diving deeper into self-discovery, my focus is always on creating a safe, healing-centered space where real change happens.

I earned my doctorate in psychology from NYU and trained in community mental health settings and schools. For over 20 years, I have been working with children, adolescents, and adults across all five boroughs of NYC.
In addition to my clinical work, I’ve been an adjunct professor training future clinicians, led professional development for educators, facilitated groups, and spoken on panels about mental health and well-being. My experience has given me a deep understanding of mental health across the lifespan and the many ways we show up for the world—and ourselves.

When I’m not working, you’re just as likely to find me exploring a great restaurant, concert, or museum in the city as you are seeing me recharge at the beach or in a quiet park. I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and stay curious about the world. My Mom always said I was smart because I asked a lot of questions, and that curiosity fuels everything I do—including our work together.
I joined this practice because I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing space where Black women can heal, grow, and flourish. We deserve a therapist who understands our unique experiences and offers a soft place to land—a space to be with ourselves, to heal, and to thrive. Let's work together to find your best you.
